This is definitely my first time spending Chinese New Year away from home. I totally forgot all about CNY until I saw pictures of reunion dinners on my Facebook and Instagram feeds. I'm a little bummed that I won't be able to join in the festive excitement with my family and friends. My elder brother told me that there will be a Twilight Parade and Dragon Boat Races in Sydney. I'm really looking forward to all that!
